Belonging Scholarships

PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

This work comes from our heart. As such, for us at the Conscious Dying Collective it is important to us that those who long to be part of the conscious dying conversation (to belong) and/or to become a professional End-of-Life Doula, have the opportunity to join us regardless of financial circumstances.

The Partial Scholarships we offer:

We award 4 partial scholarships for each End-of-Life Doula Training Program
(this program includes both the Befriending Death and End-of-Life Doula courses)
We award 4 partial scholarships for each Befriending Death course.
 

Financial responsibility for scholarship recipients: 

Each End-of-Life Doula Training Program partial scholarship is in the amount of $1175, the recipient is responsible for the remaining balance of $1175.

Each Befriending Death partial scholarship is in the amount of $250, the recipient is responsible for the remaining balance of $600.
 

Our program advisors can help you to decide which scholarship to apply for as each recipient will be eligible for only one scholarship.

Payment plans available upon request.

Scholarships will be made available to those: 

  • - Who feel their heart is in alignment with this work
  • - Who feel that they have the qualities of an end-of-life doula
  • - Who demonstrate financial need - we ask that you apply only if a scholarship is truly needed
  • - Who demonstrate leadership abilities through participation in community service or volunteer opportunities and are committed to furthering social justice in the End-of-Life work
  • - Who self-identify as one or more of the following: low income or underserved, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, veteran, live with a disability
