Vigils are devotional times for engaging with our sorrows, worries and losses. They
tend the hard parts of our personal and collective grief through the soft expression of
intentional space, guiding invocations, imaginal activities and tender closings. This is
your invitation to pause and attend to the parts of your broken and aching heart, bear
witness to your outrage and generate a frequency of grace and healing for yourself
and the ailing world.
The Conscious Dying Collective invites you into a grief vigil—a sacred space to pause, gather, and be held in community.
We come together at the turning points of the year—the solstices and equinoxes—moments long honored across cultures as thresholds for reflection, balance, and renewal. These natural pauses invite us to slow down, take stock, and tend what lives quietly within us.
We gather around our virtual fire to listen, to be witnessed, and to tend the places within us that long for care. Together, we draw from practices that have supported the human heart across generations.
All are welcome—just as you are.
Your companions and facilitators,
Woods Winfree and Julie Freed
