Our relationships with animals are intimate and often life-defining. And yet, when it comes to their dying and death, many of us find ourselves unprepared, unsupported, and unsure how to navigate what lies ahead.

This course is a gentle and grounding space for anyone who loves animals—whether you are caring for a beloved companion nearing the end of life, grieving a loss, or simply wanting to feel more prepared.

Together, we will honor the depth of the animal-human bond and bring greater awareness, compassion, and intention to the way we companion our animals through the end of life and how we care for ourselves in a world without them.

Through a blend of heartfelt conversations and practical guidance, we will explore:

  • What conscious dying can look like for animals
  • How to navigate end-of-life decisions with clarity and care
  • Ways to support your animal emotionally, physically, and spiritually
  • The role of ritual, ceremony, and meaning-making in the grief journey
  • How to tend to your own heart before, during, and after loss

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn from guest speakers—including an animal communicator, veterinarian, and animal chaplain—who will offer diverse perspectives and invite deeper understanding of the animal experience.

This is a space to deepen your relationship with animals, to approach their dying with presence and love, and to feel less alone in one of the most tender experiences of being human.

Whether you come as a devoted animal companion or as a caregiver/doula wishing to expand your practice, you are welcome here.
