Ashley Bright

Ashley Bright received her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Aging Services Leadership from Lipscomb University. She went on to use her unique skills as a Medical Social Worker in the fields of Geriatric Medicine and Long Term Care. After several years in Long Term Care, her passion for advocacy for dying people and their families led her to obtain a Sacred Passage Doula and Conscious Dying Educator certificates from the Conscious Dying Institute.

In addition to her role at CDC, she also is in private practice as a Healthcare Navigator and Sacred Passage Doula through her business Life Journey Advisors. She also provides consulting to healthcare workers and companies who desire to become a pioneer in quality, holistic end of life care; and she teaches community seminars for those seeking to live a more purposeful and meaningful life by starting with the end in mind.
