Sydney Solis

Sydney Solis is a writer, storyteller, yoga teacher and certified soul-centered coach who has spent nearly 25 years helping children and adults transform their lives through the power of yoga and story. She is the founder of the pioneering Storytime Yoga® for Children program and The Mythic Yoga Studio which integrate movement, mindfulness and mythology to promote literacy, healing and personal growth.
Her award-winning work has reached a global audience and been featured on PBS and in publications such as Yoga Journal. She has taught at renowned institutions including Kripalu, The Omega Institute and Lighthouse Writers Workshop in Denver, where she is a 2025–26 New Voices Fellow.
Blending her background in journalism, psychology, theatre, and dance from the University of Colorado at Boulder, along with more than 500 hours of yoga and yoga therapy training, Sydney offers a unique and embodied approach to self-expression, life transitions, and soul work. Through her coaching and creative offerings, she empowers people of all ages to find their voice, heal their stories, and live with purpose. Sydney teaches from her own experiences as a survivor of generational war trauma, depression and the suicides of her first husband and youngest sister.
