Tobie graduated from the University of Utah with degrees in Sociology and Political Science and a Certificate in Criminology. She is lucky to have one awesome husband, two amazing daughters and three crazy cats. 

Tobie fell in love with traveling when she was 17 and after college she started traveling with her husband and daughters. She took her birth and postpartum doula training in 2007 and has loved being involved in the birth world. In 2013 her family spent 12 days driving from Utah to Guatemala where they lived, worked and volunteered. Tobie stays busy running her non-profit, Be Humanitarian  https://behumanitarian.org/  and leading humanitarian tours to Guatemala. Tobie is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the amazing humans here at Conscious Dying Collective.
